Backrooms: Escape the Rat

A first-person horror escape game, set in the terrifying Bottomless Backrooms.

You awaken to find yourself in a dark, maze-like labyrinth.

A killer rat is after you. Your best chance is to collect all of the cheese to win before it kills you first.

Intelligent AI rat that becomes increasingly quicker as you collect cheese

Hard Mode unlock upon completion of Easy Mode

⚙️ Controls:

WASD — Movement

Mouse — Camera control

Shift — Run

Esc — Pause

Recommended:

Play in a dark room using headphones for maximum immersion.

⚠️ Known Issue:

In Easy Mode, players might sometimes pass through a wall and get stuck.

If this happens, you can pause, go to the main menu, and start Easy Mode again.
